Expressive Type Project
Creative use of text to visually take on the meaning of the word itself. This can be achieved in many ways, such as: text layout, alignment, edit a text as a shape and transform the word or individual letters to represent and take on the meaning of the word. Students will follow a process of design to inspire, develop and finalize their own ideas.

Examples of Expressive Type
Note that simple images or additional shapes can be combined with the text to make strong connection to the word.
KEEP IT SIMPLE and use shapes or images only to enhance the connection they have created.
